Are you confused and exasperated by the flurry of changes at eBay?

"Stop Wasting All Your Time Trying to Master eBay's Constant And Confusing Rounds of Changes!"

Isn't it time that you stopped fighting the system and invested your time and energy in strengthening your business... by creating a powerful second income stream on Amazon.com.

Introducing The Amazon Solution, the simple to follow plan to easily double or even triple your monthly income on Amazons rock solid, stable sales platform!

Dear Fellow eBay Seller,

If you have been selling on eBay for any length of time, you know the one constant is change. Various small tweaks to the selling platform, annual fee changes and other small policy changes that affect you as a seller happened at frequent but reasonable intervals.

But for years, the visitor experience hasn't really changed.

In 2008, that reasonably cautious policy towards change has been thrown out the window. Changes on eBay for both sellers and visitors have been dramatic.

Just how dramatic?

In April 0f 2008 Stephanie Tilenius said "So many changes are headed eBay’s way that by this time next year eBay.com will be unrecognizable in comparison to today."

As sellers, we just have to suck it in and adopt to the latest round of change - if we can understand them (or leave eBay and kill our income stream completely.)

But as visitors - folks who have many choices on where to spend their money - the changes are shockingly dramatic and confusing. What was once a simple buyer's marketplace has become complex and cumbersome with great changes to the look, feel and operation of eBay hitting visitors all at once. And true to form, eBay hasn't taken adequate steps to educate visitors about the changes...

And lets be honest. Even if they did adequately educate the visitors, what visitor wants to keep relearning how to effectively shop on eBay? They have better things to do with their time and friendlier places to spend their money.

Now some visitors will stick it out and figure things out and keep buying but it has an impact. And new visitors will keep coming.

But lets be realistic... a confused mind generally chooses to not take any action... and that means less sales for long term eBay sellers.

I've been selling on eBay since 1997 and have experienced and adjusted to just about every change they have ever implemented. And I have to tell you the changes in 2008 have been the most I've ever experienced in eBay. And the most dramatic too. I still don't understand all the ins and outs enough to fully reengineer my eBay strategies for maximum effectiveness... whatever that means in this new, rapidly evolving eBay.

In addition to the typical fee increase, eBay has

  • added another fee restructuring this summer. That makes at least two fee restructurings this year.

  • removed the ability of fixed price listings to be sorted by time (i.e. ending soonest) because they decided that fixed price listings, unlike auction listings, are not time sensitive.

  • added a new default search called "Best Match" that works differently for auctions than for fixed price listings and then magically sorts and displays them to visitors. How does it really work? No one knows but we still have to pay for each listing we post... essentially buying advertising without really knowing what we are getting.

  • required electronic payments only on the platform. No more checks or money orders. I don't know about you but many of my buyers have been asking me if I take money orders or how to pay by money order because they are used to buying on eBay that way. But that way is no longer an option.

  • been pushing real hard to get all sellers to offer free shipping. In fact, they tweaked their Best Match search to give preference to sellers offering free shipping. How much of a positive tweak is isn't known. In fact, the entire search algorithm is shrouded in mystery which makes it real hard to figure out how much exposure you are getting for your listings any longer. And remember, you are paying for the right to be kept in the dark.

And if you think eBay isn't being real serious about moving to a free shipping platform, consider the fact that I and many other sellers get phone calls from eBay every few weeks suggesting that we use free shipping as a way to generate more sales. Many sellers have of course jumped on the free shipping bandwagon by simply raising their prices to include shipping in the price... which generates more fees for eBay.

  • taken away the ability for sellers to leave feedback to buyers. Now you no longer have a way to comment on a bad buyer. But they can still comment on you. Even the deadbeats who don't pay.

  • decided to use the DSR (detailed sellers ratings) - a newer feature - to determine fee reductions and positioning in the search results. But one of the ratings categories - shipping and handling charges - tends to drag a seller's DSR down. I charge a reasonable shipping fee on my products and the funny thing is some of my competitors who offer free shipping have a lower DSR rating in this category than me. Which makes absolutely no sense... except that it shows that customers do not understand how to use DSR and its effect on sellers.

  • decided to set maximum shipping fees in a variety of categories with more changes promised to come in the future.

  • first allowed digitally delivered products to be sold in some categories and then months later, they banned their sale. Lots of people built businesses around this feature only to have them killed off by a policy decision.

  • at one point pushed real hard to get people to set up eBay stores with a promise of promoting them within core listings and then after tons of people signed up for stores and invested huge amounts of time setting them up and listing a store inventory, changed their promotion policy because they felt stores were now getting too much exposure. And they raised store final value fees too.

  • And many other tweaks - including a redesign of your my eBay seller's panel, a new look for the search results page and the item listing page that visitors see, more third party advertising on the site and many others.

As if this wasn't enough...

Stephanie Tilenius, General Manager of eBay North America, delivered the keynote address at ChannelAdvisor’s Catalyst Conference on April 2, 2008.

In her address, she promised even bolder and faster changes at eBay, stating that eBay’s goal is to deliver a more retail-like experience. She also stated that the concept of an annual seller fee change no longer existed at eBay and that further pricing adjustments could come at any time. She also said that so many changes are headed eBay’s way that by this time next year eBay.com will be unrecognizable in comparison to today.

Whatever all that means...

To me, it means that I need to be ready to dig in my heels and constantly do lots of learning and experimentation to stay competitive. (And you'd better be ready to do the same if you want to be as effective as possible in making your sales on eBay.)

Or you can invest your time in growing your business in another way.

All these unpredictable changes affect your income. Stability and predictability in your business is lost.

This is why building a second income stream for your business is so critical.

All the constant tweaks and small erosions of my eBay business made me start seeking other ways to sell my goods in early 2007.

I built a website to showcase my products but that put the entire challenge of getting visitors on me.

Not an easy task.

Add to that the new challenges of dealing with collecting payments directly, merchant accounts, dealing with a shopping cart and the security of the website and all the other issues that exist when running your own ecommerce site no matter how big or small.

And then one day in early 2007, I discovered one of my competitors selling his items on Amazon.

A huge light bulb went off...

A new sales channel like eBay that I could exploit was suddenly revealed to me.

Now I knew years ago that anyone could sell their used books on Amazon. Heck, I sold some used books from my personal collection on Amazon in 2005. It just didn't dawn on my at that time to sell my catalog of products on Amazon as well as eBay at that time. Looking back on that, I could kick myself for not making that connection. That missed connection cost me tens of thousands of dollars in sales.

It took me a while from when the light bulb went off until I started adding my catalog of products to Amazon. In fact, it wasn't until the summer of 2007 that I actually added my first product. Since then, I've added about 90% of my catalog to Amazon and boy has it been good.

Has it been successful?

Since June of 2007 to October 2008, I've sold 6,947 items on Amazon. Compare that to just 4,153 items on eBay in that same period of time.

And the best part is that Amazon, once I learned the ropes, is so much easier to use and doesn't keep changing on me. The same process and fees I experienced selling a few books in 2005 is the same process and fees I am experiencing today. In fact, the only changes I could identify in all this time are a few tweaks to their seller's panel (called Sellers Central) to make it easier for sellers to review their account details. When was the last time eBay did something that made it easier for sellers?

Selling on Amazon is easy. In fact, it is easier to sell on Amazon than on eBay. But that doesn't mean that it is drop dead simple. There are many procedures and techniques to adopt to make your selling experience first rate. To make this transition as easy as possible, I've gathered everything I've learned about selling on Amazon and packaged in into a huge, fully detailed 97 page manual.

Steven,

This is a valuable approach to the "great ebay meltdown." I had been patiently waiting for a manual like this one on the topic of Amazon to come along. This is a Very Good manual and great timing. Full of info and technique with no fluff; a game changer! Thanks!

Al Loo

Steven,

I have been selling on Amazon since June of 2008.

Prior to that, I spent a number of weeks reading through Amazon's help
pages, through various forum postings related to selling on Amazon, plus I conducted searches on various search engines and even purchased a couple of ebooks.

It truly is difficult to find comprehensive information about selling on
Amazon that lays it out in a step by step format.

I came across the Amazon Solution offer through a posting on a popular
internet marketing forum. I was thinking it would probably be the same
type of basic information found elsewhere on the internet and in other
ebooks. Much of the information you will find about selling on Amazon is
either very outdated or overly simplistic in nature.

Using those typical sources is a recipe for failure. You need information
that is clear, concise, updated, and provides a step by step action plan.

Be assured the Amazon Solution provides all of this and much more. Even though I had already been selling on Amazon, and generating five figures monthly, there are still many things I learned from the ebook.

When deciding to purchase, I figure it cost only $37 so what did I have to
lose? If I wasn't happy with the product, I would simply ask for a refund.
Steven had answered all my pre-purchase questions in a timely manner and I found him to be a no-nonsense, straight talking guy. This gave me faith that my $37 investment would be a worthy one. I am certain that Steven will also be willing to answer any other questions that I may have in the future.

Steven is actually someone who practices what he preaches. He puts the
very ideas presented in the book into practice, he is certainly not a
theorist. After all, the guy has earned tens of thousands of dollars on
Amazon, and when someone like him is willing to reveal his methods, then
you need to stand up and take action.

Thankfully, to my surprise, I was wrong on my original assumptions that
the ebook would be mundane and contain recycled information. The Amazon Solution is laid out in clear and concise steps... everything was covered from how to set up your account to how to utilize proper catalog
descriptions. From listing your product to managing your shipping options,
and everything in between.

I can not overstate how complete the Amazon Solution is, it truly is
impressive and it is not something I can say on a regular basis.

With the drastic changes being made on Ebay (much to the detriment of both sellers and buyers), any Ebay seller needs to look for alternative selling avenues. Why put all your eggs in the Ebay basket when they are proving to be so unpredictable? Look over recent traffic statistics and you will see that Amazon is gaining visitors while Ebay seems to be going in an
opposite direction.

Do yourself and your business a favor by looking at Amazon as a great
opportunity. But like I mentioned, Amazon is a completely different avenue than Ebay. It can be overwhelming at first, but the potential payoff is great.

You can spend hours banging your head against the wall, trying to figure
out how Amazon works. Or, you can take a better approach and learn from someone who has been selling on Amazon for a good period of time. Reduce the length of your learning curve and put more money in your pocket more quickly.

I am not the type guy who generally gives out testimonials, but I felt
compelled to give one for The Amazon Solution. Reading through the
document made me realize how many hours I spent through trial and error, coming up with a proper plan to sell on Amazon. Believe me when I say that you will save yourself hours in research and testing.

Need more assurance? Steven backs up the Amazon Solution with a no-hassle 60 day money back guarantee. You have little to risk and everything to gain by following the methods laid out. If you are an Amazon newbie, this ebook is critical for your success. If you are an experienced Amazon seller, then I am certain there will a few tips in the ebook that you can capitalize on (I know I have).

I am looking forward to growing my Amazon income in the upcoming months, thanks in part to what I read in the Amazon Solution.
